Tina Ogan shared the following praise report: “Praising God for His goodness! It’s been a tough year of loss but throughout the pain, God continues to show His faithfulness, and I’m so grateful.”
HCC member Ron Russom wrote on his Welcome Card, “My praise report is that my youngest daughter, Adriana, has returned back into my life. I’m so happy. God is always faithful.”
HCC member Mercedes Orozco reported “Thank you for all your prayers. My Dad is now cancer free! I serve a good, good Father-God.”
It was a Good Friday miracle. Dilma and her ten year old son Samuel were at HCC for the Good Friday Holy Communion service. After partaking together of Holy Communion, Samuel handed his mother his glasses, telling her he didn’t need them any more. Over the following days, each time the subject of wearing his glasses came up, Samuel repeated, “I don’t need them any more.” His vision had been completely healed during the Communion service and continues to be perfect months afterward. To God be the glory.
One of our young men at HCC, Jordan, knows he serves a God of second chances. He had his dream job…but by his own admission, he “messed up” and lost it after only eight months. He recently interviewed for a new job as a heavy duty mechanic, his favorite kind of work, and was hired! He’s praising God for a second chance.
As Jennifer’s young family grew, the family’s small apartment became simply TOO small. Jennifer began to pray that she and her husband could purchase a home, and that God would provide the money needed for a down payment. The answer didn’t come quickly, but she continued to pray, trust and confess God’s provision for over a year. Late in 2017 they found their new home-to-be, but they had to clear Escrow and that required a financial blessing that had not yet arrived. They moved ahead by faith, and when the down payment came due, God came through, right on time. They moved into their new home in March of this year, and are praising God for this special blessing.
Some weeks ago, Elvia was invited to Harbor Christian Center by her grandson. She enjoyed the services and started to attend on a regular basis. Following a fall which injured her knee, Elvia was in a lot of pain and needed to use a cane when she walked. On Sunday, May 20, she responded to an altar call and received prayer for healing. Of Catholic background, this was a new experience for her, and she strongly felt the power and presence of God. Following prayer, she no longer needed her cane and is now able to walk normally again, completely free of pain.
